Pitou’s ‘Give Me A Glass’ was played on both BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 Music again yesterday! Much love for all the support we’ve received from BBC and Radio X over the past few weeks.
Pitou will be returning to the U.K. soon for two shows, one at The Islington in London on the 19th of July (tickets here) & Underneath The Stars Festival, in South Yorkshire, on the 20th of July (tickets here). Here’s the video we made with Glitterstudio for ‘Give Me A Glass’, premiered at DIY.

Pitou has revealed the artwork for her upcoming EP ‘I Fall Asleep So Fast’, due for release on May 11th, with a release show at Bitterzoet, Amsterdam on May 13th.
‘Be Delicate’ is the 4th track from the new EP, that was kindly played on BBC Radio 1 by both Hugh Stephens and Phil Taggart. Listen back to Phil’s show here, ‘Be Delicate’ can be heard at about 57:00.
“I love that. It’s so .. so strange isn’t it. I can’t wait to hear the full record. That’s a very brave move as a new musician, releasing something that is completely a capella.”
We can’t wait to share the full EP with you on May 11th. If you can make it to the release show, be sure to get your tickets in advance. You can do that here.
Last week we were guests at Subcity Radio, Glasgow. Mink Records founder Marieke McKenna had a chat with Jeremy about Mink, plans for 2017 and the music scenes in Amsterdam, The Hague and Glasgow. Pitou did a lovely live session, performing 5 of her songs, some from the recently released EP and some unreleased ones. We also played tunes by some of our favourite upcoming bands from the Dutch indie scene, and some old classics by artists like Mazzy Star, Bert Jansch, Machito & Herbie Mann, Donovan, Nick Drake, Hugh Masekela and Neşe Karaböcek. You can listen back here.
