lllnoledge is a duo consisting of two brothers: Steve Hartley en Mill Voyance. Music and spirituality are closely related – this is the philosophy with which the brothers were raised. Illnoledge have developed their own music style dubbed ‘Akan Fu’, containing elements of Afrobeat, Soul, Latin, Jazz en Reggae. Hypnotizing heart-beat rhythms, mystic melodies, magical harmonies and cryptic lyrics.
On ’Fearless: ‘This song is dedicated to our ancestors. We traveled to our father’s homeland and found out more about our ancestral history. We found out about their faith and traditions and how they fought for their freedom in times of slavery. This inspired us to write and compose this song.’
