We would like to invite you to the celebration of the release of ‘Post’, debut album by The Hazzah. These boys from The Hague have played in every corner of the city and added close to 100 shows throughout the rest of The Netherlands and France in the past 2 years. During the release show at Paard the band will perform their new material and the album will be available for the first time on 12” vinyl.

The Hazzah’s music is a reflection of the warm comfort of existential freedom experienced through a smoke break during a long road trip. Refining their post-psychedelic roots for their upcoming debut album, The Hazzah’s songs have become louder, deeper and shorter.

‘Post’ was recorded over the summer of 2018 together with producer/engineer Michiel Mutsaerts. The album came into being in recording spaces varying from high-end studios like Wisseloord in Hilversum, to a DIY temporary self-built studio in the headquarters of a scouting group in the North of Holland. The Hazzah recorded their new song without any restraints, resulting in an album that beautifully combines the members’ diverse music tastes.

Backed by acclaimed Dutch live agency Friendly Fire, The Hazzah have toured extensively throughout the Netherlands, performing at festivals like Le Mini Who, Dutch Design Week, Life I Live, Crossing Border and Paaspop, and supporting acts like Mattiel (CA), Pale Waves (UK), Alex Lahey (AU), St. Tropez (NL), CFM (VS), Hallo Venray (NL), Equal Idiots (BE), The Glücks (BE), Phobophobes (UK). Their music has been featured on 3FM, in Spotify playlists like ‘New Alternative’, and on music/film blogs like Noisey, The Daily Indie and Booooooom TV.
